Twitter For Viral Marketing – A Clever Way to Create Viral Articles For Easy Website Traffic

How do you reap the full effects of Twitter for viral marketing? Well, this clever strategy teaches you a step-by-step guide on how to create viral articles on the fly and attract Twitter traffic.

First, you need to find what topics are the most relevant to your Twitter followers. You need to use something that takes the guesswork out of what tweets are actually hot. That is to use TweetDeck.  TweetDeck is an Adobe software application for Twitter.  You can go to the website TwitScoop and see what people are tweeting about. When people tweet about something, it means they are thinking about something.

Find out what that topic is. It’s all in tagged form, so it usually means the biggest tag. It’s the same for TweetDeck as well.

Basically, tweet about a specific topic. Write a blog post that has the specific topic. For example, you can write about the Susan Boyle phenomenon a few weeks ago or Oprah getting on Twitter. More recently, it was swine flu. When you attach your marketing and articles to those kinds of dominant emotion, the results really shoot up. Response rates go through the roof.

I wrote an article called “4 Urgent Reasons Why Oprah Matters to Your Twitter Marketing.” The magic word was “Oprah.” I got two to three times more click-throughs from that tweet than from other tweets. It’s crazy. It’s been tweeted over 100 times in the space of five days.

I think we got 2,000 to 3,000 people visiting that blog post, purely through Twitter. I didn’t really email my list, but in the first few days it was really gaining traction on Twitter. It was re-tweeted all over the place. Oprah on Twitter was on everyone’s mind.

That’s the million-dollar secret to using Twitter traffic for article marketing and creating viral marketing.

I love the viral power of Twitter, and your tip shows just how powerful it is. You know, you should add a little Retweet Link at the end of your blog posts (you can use http://RetweetLink.com ) and articles, to let your visitors re-tweet it quickly.
